Could you imagine having someone like Gwen Stefani as your mom? She is one of those celeb moms who definitely has a very unique sense of style. You know she’s not dressing her kinds in GAP from head-to-toe. Not that there is anything wrong with that!

Anyways, Gwen looked great at she took her kids Kingston and Zuma Rossdale to a birthday party in LA. In typical rock star fashion, Gwen sported some designer Christian Louboutin shoes as well as two fabulous handbags. In fact, these weren’t just any handbags they were both her own designs: a Harajuku Lovers Tote and a L.A.M.B. Grant Tote. With two youngsters, I can see how this fashionable mom needs more than one bag.

There are times when I think I’ve missed my calling as a stylist. Ya, ok, maybe not. But, I have to say, as much time as I spend looking at and loving handbags, I spend almost as much time imagining which friend or celeb would be best suited for a particular bag.

But today, when I came across this beyond fabulous Jimmy Choo clutch I thought of so many different people who would look beyond fabulous with this clutch in their hand. In fact, I can see some of my friends who tend to go for an edgy look carry this as often as my friends who are a bit more feminine. I love when a bag can do that!

I think the best way to describe this clutch is by quoting a real life stylist, Rachel Zoe, when she sees something she likes: I DIE! This clutch is nothing short of edgy, chic and fabulous.

Yes, the Jimmy Choo Metallic Perforated Nappa Leather Clutch is very distinct and the hardware is in your face, but I don’t see anything wrong with it at all. I love the buckle detailing and removable chain shoulder strap. The leather is textured and works with the buckle detailing and shoulder strap nicely. While I usually don’t use shoulder straps with my clutches, this is an instance in where I just might. Shocker, right?! And I can’t help but notice how this bag could be carried all year around – always a plus in my book. Buy through Nordstrom for $1150.

It is official. I am a Kristin Cavallari fan. It’s taken a little bit of time for me to warm up to the “bad girl” from The Hills, but she’s grown on me quite a bit. When she made her debut on The Hills, I was on the fence. I didn’t like how she seemed to have done Lauren Conrad wrong in the past. Yet as the episodes came and went, I now find myself a total fan.

I love how she puts people in their place. In fact for the most part, I think she says what everyone else is thinking. So, Bravo Kristin, Bravo.

Another thing I am loving right now is her fabulous Kara Ross Mia Leather Clutch she carried to Katsuya Restaurant in Hollywood. We’ve seen her carry this clutch before and I for one love it as much now as I did when I first saw it. She also sported a pair of killer black Sergio Rossi pumps. As far as I am concerned, Kristin should keep on with her bad self. She rocks.

I’m speaking for all of us here at PurseBlog when I say that we are all thrilled that new Alexander Wang handbags are available. While new handbags seem to pop up all the time at some of our favorite retail stores, there are some days where I feel like I’ve already seen everything. I guess that’s what I get for basically scouring the internet for the best (and sometimes worst) handbags available. So, needless to say, I welcome these new Alexander Wang bags with open arms.

The thing about Alexander Wang handbags is that they are unique – very unique. Yes, you need to have a bit of an open mind to fully appreciate these bags, but when you are able to open your mind, you might find yourself lusting after a bag that makes quite a statement.

In fact, this Alexander Wang Willow Top-Frame Messenger is just what I am talking about. I’ve always envisioned a messenger bag to have a particular shape and style. Sure, there are slight variations, but all in all, you know what I am saying. However, this messenger is quite different. First of all, it seems to be taller than it is wide. Not what you would normally expect, right? The black pebble leather bag is opened with a hinged metal frame and is closed and secured with a leather-and-loop strap. There is a single top handle (2″ drop) as well as detachable leather and chain shoulder strap (20½” drop). This is the kind of bag that will bring an entire new look and feel to almost any outfit. I appreciate the direction Mr. Wang has gone with this bag, do you? Buy through Saks for $925.

I guess when you are a child star turned co-founder of a child celeb empire, you can virtually stop working at a very young age and still have plenty to do and spend.

Case-in-point, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. These two got started with their hit show Full House and did nothing but grow from there. So, while I do wonder what they actually do these days, I know that they are spotted all over town attending some of the most amazing events.

Mary-Kate (pictured here) and Ashley were spotted attending the NYC premiere of High Rollers. Mary-Kate took a step on the wild side with her leopard print blouse. She added a little more texture to her look with a Jimmy Choo Tita Snake Embossed Fringed Clutch.

Sweet mother of the work force! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. I absolutely must get my hands on this Miu Miu bag. Ok, I am getting ahead of myself, so excuse me while I calm down for a quick second.

There, I’m better now.

Before I was a blogger, I was a part of the corporate world (well sort of). I remember living in DC, riding the metro (DC’s version of the subway) to work and noticing all of the bags both men and women carried to work. I didn’t have anything too fancy and never really went out of my way to find something fancy. However, I literally came to a complete stop when I came across this Miu Miu Deerskin Leather Tote – it is beyond fabulous.

Now, if you don’t find yourself waking up everyday and schlepping to an office, fear not, this bag can come in handy for several other occasions. More than anything, this bag exudes luxury. Black deerskin leather is adorned with gold-tone hardware. There is a fold-over flap at the front of the bag, twist-lock fastening and stud and buckle embellishments along the sides. Open this fabulous bag and you will find taupe suede lining. This bag is elegant, versatile and timeless. In typical Miu-Miu fashion you will have to shell out a pretty penny for it, but it is worth it. I don’t know about you, but I’m in love. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $1650.

We cover Kim Kardashian an awful lot here on BagThatStyle. I know that some of you aren’t entirely sure why she is famous or why the paparazzi continue to follow her every move. Well, the fact of the matter is that she is one celeb that the world can’t seem to get enough of and I don’t see this changing anytime soon.

In fact, I actually welcome all of this because I’ve yet to really see Kim act out in a diva-ish fashion. Ok, there was one Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode where she was demanding the best suite available in all of Miami for some appearance she was going to make, but I’m going to let that one go.

Here, Kim teamed up with Kelly Osbourne to host a clothing drive for “My Friend’s Place”, a center for homeless youth in Hollywood. Kim looked absolutely gorgeous in her all black ensemble: Helmut Lang dress, Christian Louboutin Clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps.

It has been a little while since we’ve all been in the midst of a fringe debate. If you remember, not too long ago, it seemed as if every other bag was adorned with some kind of fringe. I for one never really got sick of bags with fringe, but I can see how so many of you handbag lovers out there did. Fringe can completely make or break a great bag.

So, I was a little surprised to see this Tod’s bag with so much fringe. Aren’t you? No matter what you think about fringe, you have to admit, this bag is rather exquisite in its own way.

There have been so many fringe bags we’ve covered in the past that seemed to be perfect for a younger crowd. However, one of the first things I noticed about the Tod’s G-Bag Frange Media is that it clearly appeals to a wide age range, which I am always a fan of. The tiered fringe adds just the right amount of movement to the bag without it looking a complete mess. I could carry this during the day as easily as I could to dinner or for a night out with friends. How can you miss the color? I know Summer is coming up next but this bag would be beyond perfect for Fall! This is the kind of bag that is a perfect combination of formal and fun.
